Ethan West – Accountant

Ethan is a tax associate and part of the client services team out of our Everett office. Born and raised in Seattle, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington in 2023, earning dual majors in Accounting and Information Systems. He started preparing taxes in 2020 while volunteering to provide free tax help for United Way and enjoyed making the process as stress-free as possible.

Since 2021, Ethan has been a part of Madrona Financial & CPAs, starting as a tax intern, project intern, and finally as a full-time tax accountant in 2023. Additionally, he works in client services and tax analysis for investment advisory clients. He is currently working on obtaining his CPA and has passed three out of the four exams.

Ethan is passionate about sustainability; he led UW Sustainability as president and has spoken at several conferences in the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work, Ethan enjoys traveling, movies, pickleball, and soccer.
